Documentary Work

Scintillate Films is a media production company that produces the documentary film series Planning Deception, Rusted Threads, and This Town Won’t Die. Produced, directed, and edited by Vince Grassi. These were released between 2020 and 2025. This Town Won’t Die and Rusted Threads offer an inside look into Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and how this once-bustling American community is working to find new solutions amidst current dynamic shifts. Through countless interviews and over 10 years in the making, filmmaker Vince Grassi (Scintillate Films, LLC) highlights the dire situation facing this struggling community.
